ISIS…or rather ISINS?

“Verily, when the servant commits a sin a black spot appears upon his heart. If he abandons the sin, seeks forgiveness, and repents, then his heart will be polished. If he returns to the sin, the blackness will be increased until it overcomes his heart. It is the covering that Allah has mentioned: No, but on their hearts is a covering because of what they have earned.” (83:14)
[Hadith]

The hadith speaks of how the heart becomes blacker and blacker with more sin. This blackness becomes a veil between you and Allah. This blackness – caused by YOUR sins, becomes a veil. And if it reaches a stage, where you are devoid of the light of Allah, Islam is lost to you and you are lost. Some leave Islam. And some take on a false version of it, headed by none other than Shaitaan and his followers, eager to find companionship in their corruption.

Don’t take my word for it. Just look. Look at the example of the ISIS-types. The Orlando shooters and Concert Bombers. Look at the lifestyles they led. Seriously, google it. Look at who they were. Their sins speak for themselves. They became lost following their desires and then lost their sight further with arrogance and self-righteousness.

Purify Your Heart

For those of us who do sin, who give in to their desires, who are addicted to corrupt lifestyles – take solace in the fact that leaving hedonistic and sinful lifestyles, embracing salah and repentance and and fully turning to Allah will slowly but surely cleanse your heart. Ramadan is here – you can do this. Once your heart is clear, faith will become and remain clear to you. The doubts will lift. Kindness will be your currency, and greed will be a stranger. You will not be prey for corrupt “Muslims” to brainwash you with their false ideologies. Not will you be of the lost who float along in the tide, anxiously living for the dunya as you have lost all hope in the akhirah. Nor will you be an oppressor on the Earth.

Purify your Heart. It’s Ramadan soon. You can do this.
